GE : GFSS6KEXSS 25.8 cu. ft. French-Door Refrigerator

This refrigerator has stainless steel doors with hidden hinges. It has a very top of the line "designer" look because of the stylish contoured doors. This refrigerator uses dual evaporators called climate keeper - to maintain the higher humidity levels fresh foods require. It has easy to reach and read temp controls that have the actual temperature from inside the refrigerator displayed. This refrigerator comes with a factory installed ice maker with a water filter to ensure great fresh filtered ice. This refrigerator has two humidity controlled drawers and one full length drawer for large items that need to be stored. The interior lights in this refrigerator have a natural looking glow through the whole refrigerator. the freezer uses large and medium freezer baskets to give you easy access to your frozen food items. This refrigerator uses adjustable raised edge shelves to help contain a spill inside the refrigerator and make cleaning a spill very easy. The doors pull shut very secure. 

GE : GSH25JFXCC Refrigerator

I was looking at this refrigerator and overall I like the way it looks. The handles seem to be built a bit on the cheap side though. This refrigerator seems to be a bit loud when it cycles on. I don't know if they could of done something about this in the design process, but if this is going to be close to a living area you may want to consider the noise it puts off. This is a bottom freezer refrigerator and is the type I was looking for but because of these few reasons I gave I decided to go with a different type of refrigerator. 

GE : GSS20GEWWW Refrigerator

This GE side by side is a good looking refrigerator. GE has changed the way all of their side by side refrigerators look, for the better. The colors are new and refreshing and new looking controls are a major improvement. The crowning doors and hidden hinges really make the refrigerators look nice. They also have a very sleek feel to them now as well. These refrigerators have very modern looking style. This one also has the adjustable humidity controlled drawers, which is great to keep all of your fruits and vegetables fresh. The control for setting the temperatures is located on the outside of the refrigerator, on the door, and it allows you to set all of the functions of the refrigerator from it. The water dispenser gives you clean fresh filtered water and can dispense water up to 100 ounces per minute.

General Electric GSHS9NGYSS (29.1 cu. ft.) Side by Side Refrigerator

The General Electric GSHS9NGYSS (29.1 cu. ft.) Side by Side Refrigerator has a capacity of 29.1 cu. ft. Also, this product is Energy Star compliant, which means it is one of the most energy-efficient products in its class and usually exceeds federal energy-use standards. GE is one of the largest manufacturers of major appliances in the world, producing Monogram, GE Profile Performance, GE Profile, GE and Hotpoint brands as well as several private-label brands.

There's nothing small about this refrigerator; from the massive ice maker to the extra large door bins... there is space for everything. And even with all of this interior storage space (29.1 cu ft), the exterior size is no larger that a typical 25-26 cu ft refrigerator.

Finally a side by side freezer that can store frozen pizzas easily with plenty of room for everything else. And what's really great about the freezer is that there are adjustable shelves and door bins so you can fit all your favorite frozen items.

I had researched a lot of refrigerators and was dissatisfied with the size and performance limitations of most of the ice makers. I wanted ice through the door (including crushed ice) and also thought the ice maker should be in the freezer, not take up extra space in the refrigerator as so many of the 'French door' models do. This one gave me both, effectively and efficiently.

This is not a 'Profile' series, but GE sure got it right with this extra large side by side refrigerator... and it's Energy Star rated, too.

The stainless steel color matches well with all of my other GE Profile appliances. Looks terrific!
